just another day in gaza
time flies. i wouldn't necessarily say when you're having fun, but it certainly flies. i have been here for two months. thats just crazy!
tonight was good. you know how sometimes you just get that feeling of being home? sitting around the dining room table with this odd assortment of people, some of whom i've known only for days and others who i've know for a whopping two months. it felt like home. it felt good and safe and happy. it was a nice feeling.
i went into work again today. i couldn't help it. things had to get done, and someone had to do them. i think maybe i am addicted to my job. i don't think thats necessarily a bad thing, i just think maybe its an unhealthy thing.
but now i am going to go to bed, and tomorrow steph and i are going on a recce. and then wolf offered to cook us dinner with a movie, so that might be a plan. otherwise i have lots of leftover sauce, so its lots and lots of pasta for a while!
we made pizza tonight, it was really fun. there is such a variety of people and ages here, its amazing, and yet we all get on pretty well.
omg, and colin fixed my heating!! yay!! no longer having to freeze under a gazillion blankets! and, he mentioned that everyone else refers to us as 'John's Angels' in a parody of Charlies Angels, cause my bosses name is John....god, i really don't want to go to amman now for the induction....
